Elenza Nina V2 Espresso Machine Black

On a single boiler machine you pull the shot, wait for the boiler to climb to steam temperature, then texture the milk. The Nina V2 does not work that way. It has a 500 ml boiler dedicated to coffee and a separate thermoblock dedicated to steam, each with its own pump, so both are there when you want them.

Brews and steams at the same time

Two heating systems, two pumps. Brewing does not borrow heat or pressure from steaming, so the second shot tastes like the first and there is no pause between the espresso and the milk.

Pre-infusion you can actually set

Espresso goes wrong in the first few seconds. Hit dry coffee with full pressure and the water cuts a channel straight through the puck, then runs past the rest of it.

Pure Fusion wets the coffee at a gentler pressure first, then brings it up to full. Both stages are adjustable, so you can set it for the coffee you drink and change it when you change beans.

Brew temperature is set electronically and held there. The number you settle on this week is the number you get next month.

App control and brew by weight

The machine can be set from the Elenza app. Add the optional Elenza scale and it will end the shot at the weight you asked for, rather than leaving you counting seconds.

One portafilter, twin spout or bottomless

The Nina V2 comes with a single portafilter that does both jobs. Twin spouts for everyday use, and it converts to bottomless in seconds when you want to watch the extraction. The usual alternative is owning two and swapping them over, which means the one you pick up has been sitting on the bench going cold. Here the portafilter you brew with is always the one that has been warming in the group.
